Reserpine USP/BP

General Information

Reserpine is a naturally extracted alkaloid from root of Rauwolfia vomitoria, Rauwolfia Serpentina and these plants mainly grown in Africa and India. Contents of Reserpine in rauwolfia vomitoria more than Rauwolfia serpentina. It is used for treatment of hypertension with combination of other medicines. This drug is largely used in European and American countries for treatment of High blood pressure.
